Yep, I totally got my own domain. Well, my computer nerd husband got me a domain. Now I have to try and make it look how I want it. Given that I have a 2.5 year old; I am 15 weeks pregnant; tomorrow is the start of December and I have barely started making Christmas gifts; we still have a million things to do around our new house; and my computer hardly ever gets turned on, it may be awhile. So for now, I've picked a blogger template and will run with it until I have time to do something better.
